Some briefs demand more than good design. Every Casualty Counts, an independent not-for-profit with more than a decade of experience promoting casualty recording in situations of armed violence, is one of them. Working with civil society, national governments, and the United Nations to ensure that wherever conflict exists, its human cost is recorded and recognised, the organisation needed an identity as rigorous, bold, and unambiguous as the evidence it advocates for.
